Hello friends welcome back.Today i came back with the second part of my series (Learn CSS  Series).In this post i tell you what is CSS.I think you already heard about it but don't know much about CSS.So today i tell you what is CSS, What you can do with CSS, what is difference between CSS and HTML and what benefits CSS give you.So let's start learning about CSS.

What Is CSS ?

CSS is an acronym for Cascading Style Sheets.Many people want's to learn CSS but without doing a little hard work it is impossible to learn CSS.So what you think about CSS and what it can do for you.

What Can You Do With CSS ?

CSS is a style language and used to define layout of HTML documents.For example CSS covers fonts, colours, margins, lines, height, width, background images, advanced positions and many other things.CSS is supported by all browsers today.CSS offers more options and more accurate than HTML.After only a few lessons of this tutorial you will be able to make your own style sheets using CSS to give your website a new great look.

Difference Between CSS and HTML ?

HTML is basically used to structure content.And CSS is used for formatting structured content.Tim Berners Lee invented the World Wide Web, the language HTML was only used to add structure to text.HTML contain tags such as <h1> and <p>. here <h1> tags define headline and <p> define paragraph.Many company's like Microsoft and Netscape invented new tags such as <font> which differed from the original HTML tags by defining layout - and not structure.

CSS was invented to remedy this situation by providing web designers with sophisticated layout opportunities supported by all browsers. At the same time, separation of the presentation style of documents from the content of documents, makes site maintenance a lot easier.
