Is Google New Pagerank Update Good For Webmasters

You all know that Google has rolled out the Last PageRank update of the year 2012.But this update effected lot's of webmasters who thinking to get a good pagerank but when the update rolled out all webmaster's fell very bad when they check their pagerank. As i think this is the worst pr update from Google for webmaster's and many hard working blogger's.I checked pr of many sites and found that many blogger's get pagerank 3 or 4 direct from 0.and on the other side all the hardworking webmaster's don't any change in their pagerank.I too don't know that why Google rolled out this type of update because due to this there are happiness and sadness among blogger's.I get my pagerank 1 from 0 but don't know why other blogger's get a high pr.But on the opposite side all blogger's who don't have much quality content and backlinks get a great and sudden change in pagerank.

As i think there are no value of this pr update for webmaster's and blogger's because those who deserves to get good pagerank don't get but those who thinks that in this pr update they don't get any change in their rank get boosted by Google.
